I packed 9 shirts, 3 pants, 1 week's worth of undergarments, 6 pairs of socks, 1 blanket for the plane ride, 1 pair of shoes, 2 toiletries/makeup bags, a kindle, portable phone charger, two eyeglass cases, phone, and a collapsible neck pillow. "I love this bag! I used it on my honeymoon through Europe and it worked perfectly. I didn't have any issues bringing it as a carry-on bag, even on smaller airlines throughout Europe. I love that it opens completely like a suitcase--it made packing and re-packing easy. I used a few compression bags and the ebag flat toiletry bag and it fit everything I needed for a 12-night trip. I used it as its smallest size my whole time, but I liked the option of expanding it if I ended up finding souvenirs to bring home. The buckles on the sides served double duty: for compressing it further to ensure it would fit in overhead bins, but also to hide the zippers beneath so I didn't have to worry about anyone's sneaky maneuvers behind me. I used the front pocket for my TSA-approved toiletries, which made security a breeze. The top pocket was a perfect fit for an umbrella...I could go on and on about this bag!"
