I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch for any reason.
john@onebag.travelI've been trying to find out if my bag will really be accepted on a connecting KLM flight to Prague. KLM just replied that it's up to the person checking me in. I have the Ebags TLS MotherLoad Weekender. It measures .5" off. This bag is listed compatible with KLM on Onebag.com. Is this true? Looking for guidance. Thanks. Our Reply:
.5 off is probably ok. Sometimes they'll ask you to put your bag into a container to see if your bag is within their Carry-On size restrictions. With a soft body bag filled with clothes it's easy to squish the bag into the container even if the dimensions are a little off.
Hi John! My name is Van and I just purchased a Tortuga Outbreaker 35L. I'll be traveling to India later this year, but also want to do some more domestic traveling; quick getaways with my wife and I. I'm wondering if you could give me some more insight as to how this pack does as a carry-on? I'm new to travel backpacks' the bag looks to be well constructed and is comfortable to carry, but also seems large. I want to ensure that it'll comply with a wide range of carry-on standards. Any information you could give me would be helpful. Thank You!Our Reply
Hey Van, I love my Tortuga and take it on a lot of domestic trips. Personally, I've never had a problem with it as a Carry-On but some airlines could be picky about it. It does seem very large when fully packed. My general advice is to under pack a little. If I really stuff my 35L full it won't fit into the Carry-On size things by the gates on airlines.
