πŸ‘ Reasons to Buy

  • Superb build quality with the wheels and structure of the bag that will last for a long time.
  • Truly versatile as it can be used as a backpack or as rolling luggage.
  • The backpack straps are completely stowable which makes it convenient to store in overhead cabins or under your airplane seat.

πŸ€” Things to Consider

  • Could use an RFID pocket since this bag is created for long travels.
  • You must completely stow the straps to use them as rolling luggage because the dangling straps may be caught by its wheels.

πŸ’¬ Reviewers Have Said

  • "I love this luggage, is very comfortable. I was a little worried about the position of the wheels, I'm 5'4 and worked just fine. I bought this bag because I was going to take the bus, trains and a few planes. I wanted a bag that I could carry if it was raining, going upstairs and wheel around when I could. Used as a carry-on with TAP Portugal only had to send it down when I was coming back because it was heavier than their weight limit due to me buying extra items."
  • "This is a super versatile travel bag and just what I was looking for. As with other eBags I have purchased, it is very well-designed and made. It can hold what most carry-on luggage does. I took it on a weekend train trip and it performed like larger, sturdy roller bags that do not tip or get stuck. I will have the flexibility to carry it as a back pack on an upcoming trip (on cobblestones and uneven walkways), or as a roller bag while in the airport and hotel."
  • "I purchased the same backpack (without the rollers two months ago), which I used as my sole piece of luggage (carry-on) for a 2-week Asia trip (with 7 flights), and it was perfect, including returning with 10 additional shirts. Besides the rollers, the two major differences between the two backpacks are that the rollers utilize one of the compartments in the non-roller bag, and this bag with the rollers noticeably weighs more, which I anticipated. If you are not well-organized, this bag is designed for you! If you are well-organized, this bag has your name on it! I love both bags and highly recommend both."

Review: eBags Mother Lode Rolling Travel Backpack | Convertible Carry-on Luggage
www.awanderlustforlife.com

"This 22” convertible suitcase can be a rolling bag or a backpack. That versatility can be key in certain situations, and as I said earlier, it’s already come in handy for me! When staycations are the go-to in travel and you get around by bike, the backpack feature is so nice. Sometimes you know that just a rolling bag is totally fine, sometimes a backpack is totally fine, but if you didn’t have to choose…how awesome would that be?"
