πŸ€” Things to Consider

  • Some users pointed out that the water bottle pockets are quite tight to use.
  • Quite large to carry.
  • Could use some more organization.

πŸ’¬ Reviewers Have Said

  • "Excellent backpack. Fits the plane; when on smaller planes, front detaches to become carry on, reducing (the) depth of larger pack. pockets make sense. Feels good on rocky hikes. Fabric flaps cover and protect zippers. Strapped flaps protect all of that. Just a remarkable convertible modular pack. Excellent!!"
  • "I was initially surprised at how lightweight the nylon fabric feels, but they have held up amazingly well. The fabric doesn't scuff or show marks, and it isn't snag-prone. It's certainly not waterproof, but we found it to be water-resistant enough to handle a light rain shower just fine. One of the seams on my wife's daypack shoulder strap did eventually let go, but we contacted Osprey and they repaired it for free with no hassle. They definitely stand behind their product!"
  • "This is 2 backpacks together! In my world travels, I use this as my sole bag and it's a carry-on. Carry-Ons should be limited to 45 inches (total the height, width, and depth in inches). This is a 55 incher. So if you're using this as a carry-on, get the black and not the red to make it less noticeable. Be prepared for airlines to force you to check this bag in and not allow you to carry it on. The smaller backpack ZiPS right off. What a concept! No problems so far as a carry-on."
