Our verdict
Reasons to buy
- Features a large front zippered pocket that can be used for used clothes or stow away some things with that size.
- Its loops can be used to attach outdoor gears.
- Really comfortable to use even when fully packed.
- Made from sturdy and environment-friendly materials. This would last you a long time even when used for outdoor trips.
Things to consider
- The top loading design can make reaching items from the bottom of the bag a bit hard when the bag is fully packed.
- Could use some more organization.
- As a hiking bag, a hydration pocket for a hydration bladder would be desirable.
What reviewers said
- "I've had the pleasure of using this several times now out on the trail between this summer and fall. It's the perfect in-between size between a day pack and a full backpacking rig. I got it primarily for mountain biking, and it works amazing for that. Nice and compact, and no crazy external pockets and webbing that gets snagged on branches and brushes. And of course, the G-1000 material is tougher than nails. Which is important for busting brush or glissading if your journey offers such opportunity."
- "Love this backpack, I can fit a fair amount in here but for my purposes...still a great design and feels like the weight is evenly distributed across your body."
- "Bought this as a present for my husband. He absolutely loves it! Very good quality and is extremely comfortable to wear!"
- "Tough and simple daypack for trekking....You would be hard-pressed to find a pack of this quality for the money. Happy adventuring!"

If you plan on using this for an overnight trip, minimal is the key. Small gear. Ultralight. That's what you're going for, for this pack.
