Our thoughts

The North Face Recon is a small comfortable backpack made by a company known for its quality products.

You won't get a lot of bells and whistles with this bag but you can count on in this carry-on to last you a long time.

With only 30L of space, you'll have to be really careful with how much you pack, but that is why we one bag.

Reasons to buy

  • Top-notch weather protection.
  • Features a front pocket that offers a lot of organization which is also highly functional.
  • The shoulder straps are nicely cushioned and the back panel provides good ventilation. Very comfortable to use.

Things to consider

  • The laptop sleeve could use some more padding.
  • The internal compartment can be too narrow for its depth so you might have trouble pulling things located at the bottom of the pack.
