Reasons to buy
- There are two ways to access the main compartment. There's a top zip opening and through the back panel opening. This is incredibly useful when you need to grab things located at the middle and/or at the bottom of the bag.
- Remarkable organization throughout the entire bag that will keep things organized during travels. Even the hip belt has pockets for small things (or snacks.)
- Excellent harness system that makes the thing comfortable to carry.
- Has multiple attachment points and the compression straps could be used to carry snowboards and other outdoor gear.
Things to consider
- Could use a water bottle compartment but the hydration bladder makes up for that need.

In summary, the SnowDrifter packs are well built, using recycled materials, and are easy to use. The features are well thought out. The looks are even very good too! If that is important to you :). I tell you what, I did feel like a Patagonia model wearing the entire SnowDrifter kit on test days. LOL.

It’s got nice added features like a laptop sleeve/water reservoir compartment, ice tool loop and an internal zip pocket for valuables, configurable ski/board carry for split days and solid days, and comes in two sizes with adjustable shoulder and hip straps to get that fit just right. Plus, they make it in black. And you know photographers are only allowed to wear black.
