If you're looking for a rolltop backpack with an outline that'll serve you from the office to the furthest flung of destinations, absolutely...the Ulvo is a great bag that'll serve you for days out almost anywhere, and is made from 31% recycled nylon, too.
We had some pretty miserable weather in the fjords and I can tell you that the waterproofing definitely works. I was also really impressed by the durability of the material. It doesn’t feel as tough, as say, an Ortlieb rolltop, but it definitely seems as durable – and it doesn’t have that slightly ugly sheen to it that the PU coated commuter packs you often see have. This is much more refined. Another thing I liked about this is its packability. I flew out to Norway with this in my hold luggage and it flattened.
The Fjällräven Ulvö-Rolltop-23L is a roll-top style backpack that enables you to expand or shrink the size of your backpack to fit the amount of gear/things you’re carrying around at any given time. It’s stylish enough to carry every day to school or the office, and it’s expandable and big enough to use as a travel backpack.
