The Default can carry a heap. For those of us who juggle study, work and play – especially by bike – the Default’s got you covered for carrying capacity. Even with bulky martial arts pads (sparring helmet not in the picture), uniform, jeans (yes, I was wearing bike shorts), lecture notes, Kindle and water bottle, the Default was still less than ¾ full.

This is the kind of build quality you find in bags used all day, every day by professional couriers who need a bag to be reliable; ordinary mortals can probably expect to pass this bag down to their children. Looked at that way, £170 is still a lot of money, but it's not unreasonable for the quality and likely longevity.

You can see what you get with this pack; it’s a lifetime investment and a simple, intuitive product that eliminates challenges. Carrying a backpack every day makes feeling prepared easy.
