  • The hip belt truly helps to balance the weight of the entire pack.
  • The straps and hip belts can be hidden so they can't get in the way when tucking them in tight spaces.
  • The water bottle pocket is very useful and practical as it can be zipped away when you're not using it.
  • SafeZone compartment offers good organization.

  • Sternum strap tends to detach if not locked in.
  • Access to the SafeZone and main compartment can take a little bit of time.

Overall, I am very happy with the Thule Landmark 40L Travel Pack. The bag has a roomy main compartment with enough storage space for an extended trip...I also liked the extra security features, which help give peace of mind when traveling through crowded areas such as marketplaces, airports, trains, and city streets.
