πŸ‘ Reasons to Buy

  • There are two ways to access the main compartment. There's a top zip opening and through the back panel opening. This is incredibly useful when you need to grab things located at the middle and/or at the bottom of the bag.
  • Remarkable organization throughout the entire bag that will keep things organized during travels. Even the hip belt has pockets for small things (or snacks.)
  • Excellent harness system that makes the thing comfortable to carry.
  • Has multiple attachment points and the compression straps could be used to carry snowboards and other outdoor gear.

πŸ€” Things to Consider

  • Could use a water bottle compartment but the hydration bladder makes up for that need.

πŸ’¬ Reviewers Have Said

  • "I have broad shoulders for a female (17" versus 15"). I had tried a few packs and they all gave me shoulder pain - not this one! I'm 5'7" and the S/M sits perfectly on my hips and under my beacon. Patagucci really did make a pocket for everything, the external helmet carry is money, and I'm pretty certain the zippered waist pockets were hand sewn by sweet baby jesus. You will not regret buying this pack!"
  • "The back panel opening alone makes this pack worth every penny. Super convenient on the lift as it rests in your lap. Hip belt swallows every snack I need for the day and a thoughtful pass through for my water bladder hose. Thanks for such a well made pack! This is a replacement of one I had stolen at the ACL Music Festival. Thankful I was able to replace it, though a year later."
  • "First real backcountry backpack. It's light and easy to use with enough pockets and features for what you need but not overwhelming. Definitely would recommend for day trips backcountry skiing, hiking, traveling!"

PATAGONIA SNOWDRIFTER PACK 30L – EASY TO USE BACKCOUNTRY SKI AND SPLITBOARD BACKPACK
engearment.com

"In summary, the SnowDrifter packs are well built, using recycled materials, and are easy to use. The features are well thought out. The looks are even very good too! If that is important to you :). I tell you what, I did feel like a Patagonia model wearing the entire SnowDrifter kit on test days. LOL."

PATAGONIA SNOWDRIFTER 30L BACKPACK

"From Baker lift laps to Japanese backcountry days to Alaskan heli missions, the SnowDrifter 30L has been a reliable, versatile pack that’s never too big, never too small. It’s got nice added features like a laptop sleeve/water reservoir compartment, ice tool loop and an internal zip pocket for valuables, configurable ski/board carry for split days and solid days, and comes in two sizes with adjustable shoulder and hip straps to get that fit just right. Plus, they make it in black. And you know photographers are only allowed to wear black."
