Our thoughts

The Hideout Pack by Everman is an "indestructible", lightweight, waterproof bag for everyday use. On their website they explain some "testing" involved an underwater mishap in the Colorado River.

Is that really testing?

That is more like surviving to me.

Reasons to buy

  • Unique 270 duffle/backpack opening. It opens like a suitcase and like you are opening the top flap.
  • Optional compression straps are available to compress the bag down to a more manageable size.
  • TSA approved laptop sleeve so you can keep your technology protected when it goes through airport screening.
  • Offers a LOT of organization.

Things to consider

  • First-gen crowd funding bag so quirks are either due to the creators being new to making bags or strokes of genius that sets this bag apart.
  • 24L means it won't be great for extra long trips, but that also makes the bag amazing for use a daily-carry bag.
  • The zippers can be difficult to close.
