Our verdict
Reasons to buy
- Can double as a stool which is convenient during travels that require a lot of walking. Also features a seat cover.
- Made from durable and sturdy materials that would last a long time.
- Features a decent number of functional organization throughout the entire bag.
- Has lots of attachment points for your external gear.
- There's a large zippered opening to the main compartment so it isn't restricted to a top-load design.
Things to consider
- Quite on the heavy side but that's because of the features and functionality it offers.
- The metal frame can be a bit uncomfortable for some.
- Quite expensive.
What reviewers said
- "Very durable and it’s beat for day hike and fishing. Side pockets are sold separately but worth to purchase as it will have more room for a great amount of storage."
- "The Stubben backpack is an awesome backpack for any single-day excursions. The fact that there is an internal frame that allows the pack to become a seat at any time, is pretty great. The pack still remains very light even with the frame. Plenty of room for multiple layers and extras. The full G1000 makes this pack bombproof too. Really enjoy carrying this bag around town and in the mountains. If you're thinking about it...get it."

With the Singi Stubben, though, those concerns disappear; the pack will stay upright with the top open until the stars turn cold. Once the gyms reopen and I’m back in the habit of popping by after work, you can bet this bag will be my daily companion.
