The Hill People Gear Tarahumara and the Deuter Trans Alpine 30 backpacks are primo carry-on companions, each packing unique features that cater to different preferences. First up, the Tarahumara is a beast. It towers at 44 inches tall, stretching 24 inches wide and 10 inches deep. It's the lighter of the two at just 0.7 pounds and constructed from robust 500D Cordura fabric. Yet, despite its airy weight, it's not skimping on capacity, coming in at 16 liters. Most strikingly, this bag is compatible with 100% of airlines comfortable enough to fit all your day hiking necessities in it.

On the other hand, the Trans Alpine 30 from Deuter packs a punch too.
